Hey there! I'm Iris, the heart behind our little candle-making venture. It all started four years ago when my sister and I decided to make candles using mason jars. Our first attempts with soy wax didn’t quite work out, especially with the Arizona heat. But we didn’t give up.

We wanted to create something special, so we chose iris flower molds for our candles. I loved the variety in colors and the unique artistic attributes of the iris flower. It felt like the perfect way to express the creativity of many different people while sharing a piece of myself with everyone who buys one. After a lot of trial and error, we discovered that bee's wax was the perfect fit for our creations.

Now that I’m graduating from college, I’m thrilled to reignite Blaihrs Candles with renewed passion. My sister and I started this journey together, and although we are no longer together, her spirit still guides everything we do.
